Jessica was born and raised just outside Washington, D.C. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, with dual minors in Aerospace Engineering and Business. After graduating, she spent five years working for the United States Navy, where she gained extensive technical and program management experience.

Driven by a passion for the environment, Jessica pursued a Master’s degree in Marine and Coastal Systems Management at the University of Algarve in Faro, Portugal, an experience that allowed her to combine her technical engineering background with a growing focus on nature conservation.

Jessica has been a contractor for DCNA since 2017. She continues to work in the region, committed to finding innovative ways to protect the Dutch Caribbean’s unique natural environments.
