Frédérique van Randwijck was born in Papendrecht in 1968 and spent her childhood in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Rotterdam and Den Haag. After finishing the Gymnasium she studied Law (1987) at the University of Leiden. In 1993 she obtained her Masters in civil law.

 

Frédérique worked for many years as a policy advisor at the Ministry of Home Affairs (Fire Department) and the Ministry of Justice (Juvenile Institutions and Juvenile Protection). In addition to her work at the Ministry, she started and ran a beach club in Scheveningen in 2007.

 

In 2016, Frédérique started a new career as an account and fundraiser manager for the  World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) where her passion for conservation, wildlife and nature has deepened. From 2021-2022 Frederique worked in Zambia, Lusaka for WWF Zambia as a fundraiser advisor.

 

For two years Frederique was a board member for DCNA. Being ready for a new adventure, she applied for the position as relationship manager at DCNA. The 1st of October 2022 she started this new position.

 

Frederique cant wait to dive deeper into this beautiful part of the world and is looking forward to work together with partners, stakeholders and colleagues to secure its beauty for present and future generations.
