Quinty is missing !

Quinty, the 3.4m female tiger shark tagged off the Saba Bank in October 2016 has travelled over 1,200 kilometers on her way to the waters off Trinidad and Tobago and then on to Barbados.

Swimming initially south inside the island chain, Quinty headed to the offshore Aves Ridge, an area of relatively shallow water (500m) just west of the Grenada Trough. She then swam back through the island chain, passing south of St Vincent and the Grenadines before moving into the waters north and east of Tobago and on to Barbados …

… where she disappeared off our radar and has been ‘missing’ since 11th March.
