Nature education program at CARMABI

In CARMABI at the Nature and Environment Education department, we have a team of employees and volunteers who work on school programs and field trips for children (Elementary and Secondary Education). The NME department has a Terrestrial Education Program (TEP) and a Marine Education Program (MEP) for schools.

We produce, organize and execute nature and environment related school programs in the field and in the classroom. Our goal is to educate the people who live on or visit our beautiful Curacao. Especially informing school children about the importance of nature and our environment, the protection, conservation and sustainable development of the island. We do this through providing programs in the field, in the classroom along with educational materials for schools, which makes this information accessible for the youth. We also produce media programs, nature documentaries and provide workshops and courses.
