Nancy van der Wal is Head of Corporate Communications at the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten. She leads internal and external communications and CSR initiatives. Nancy serves as the primary advisor to the Board of Directors on all matters related to communication, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
She is part of the working group responsible for creating and implementing the new currency for the countries Curaçao and Sint Maarten—the Caribbean guilder. Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and has further enhanced her expertise with several international courses focusing on (crisis)communication, management, and corporate governance. As of August 1, 2025, she joined the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance (DCNA) as Corporate Secretary to the Supervisory Board.
