Kalli De Meyer

Kalli is an experienced nature conservation professional with a demonstrated history of establishing, managing and assisting terrestrial and marine protected areas and regional networks of protected areas in tropical environments. Her main focus has been on the Caribbean and Kalli has a special interest in developing and applying management scans, management effectiveness and management planning tools in real world settings and the development of practical tools to support nature conservation managers and staff.

Kalli has been based in the Dutch Caribbean since March 1990 and has set up and managed both the Bonaire National Marine Park and the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance. In July 2018 she founded her own company, Nature2, and since September 2023 she has been working for STINAPA Bonaire as their Conservation Director. Kalli was elected to the DCNA Advisory Council in April 2024.
