“Ti Whale An Nou” scientific project
This study will estimate population sizes as well as the distribution, movements, social structure and vocal clans of sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) in the Lesser Antilles between the islands of Grenada and Anguilla. We thus hope to perpetuate the work carried out in 2019 and 2020 by our partners at Dalhousie University. This project will also improve knowledge on the diversity, distribution and relative densities of other cetacean species in the Lesser Antilles.
